Objekte und ihre Oberflächen, die in ihrer medialen Form einen Weg vom Physischen ins Digitale und wieder zurück durchlaufen haben, sind die Protagonisten des Videos. In ihrer Wandlung vom Original zur Fotografie, zum digitalen Scan, zum gedruckten Objekt und schließlich zur Videoaufnahme bleiben nur Fragmente ihrer Herkunft erhalten.
Menschliche Spuren unterbrechen das eigentlich digitale Bild.
Auch die Soundkomposition folgt demselben Prinzip. Analoge Klänge werden aufgenommen, systematisiert und so zu einem Hybrid aus menschlich erzeugtem und digitalem Sound.
Filmische Methoden moderner Produktpräsentationen und die Bildsprache werblicher Hochglanzästhetik lassen die Objekte trotz ihrer unbestimmten Funktion affektiv zu Fetischobjekten werden.

Objects and their surfaces, whose mediated forms have undergone a passage from the physical to the digital and back again, are the protagonists of the video. In their transformation from the original to photography, to digital scan, to printed object, and finally to video recording, only fragments of their origin remain.
Human traces interrupt the otherwise digital image.
The sound composition follows the same principle. Analogue sounds are recorded, systematised, and thus turned into a hybrid of human-made and digitally generated sound.
Cinematic methods of contemporary product presentation and the visual language of glossy advertising aesthetics turn the objects, despite their undefined function, into affective fetish objects.
