Google Book Skies (2016)

With Google Books scanning books on a massive scale, occuring artefacts are not rectified- at least till now. One of such references to the scanning is the moiré-effect which easily happens when you scan printed images. In the research on that it stood out that often images of the sky are affected by that.

In this sense, Google is interfering in the skies of images of the past.
